Kick-Off Positive Change: Good Sports Workshop in Partnership with Northern NSW Football 

Join us for an enriching workshop hosted by the Good Sports Team. This event is designed to empower your football club with valuable insights on the Good Sports program and how it can work for your club. 

What is Good Sports? 

The Alcohol and Drug Foundation deliver a preventative program to reduce alcohol and other drug related harm, it is called Good Sports.

For 25 years, the Good Sports program has been unlocking community health and wellbeing by supporting and inspiring more than 11,500 community sporting clubs across 120 sporting codes, to set up a better environment for players, volunteers, supporters, families and officials. 

Good Sports is an easy to use, free, online program where clubs will have support from their Good Sports representative every step of the way.

Workshop Agenda

Bring your computers/tablets/phones to this workshop, as not only will we explain the purpose and benefits of Good Sports, but we will walk you through how to join Good Sports through the online portal registration. Our topics include:

  1. What is Good Sports?
  2. Why should I join Good Sports?
  3. How does Good Sports benefit our football club?
  4. How do I navigate the online portal?

By joining this workshop, you will walk away with:

  • insightful views from peers and understand how your football club can work to reduce alcohol and drug-related harm in your community,
  • being able to navigate those tricky digital issues,
  • an action plan for the year ahead, tackling tricky topics such as alcohol, drugs, smoking, mental health and safe transport,
  • all of your questions answered.

Jump online at either of the two available times, depending on when suits you:

         Monday 11th March at 7-8pm      OR      Tuesday 12th March 12-1pm
